Who we are

The Geelong Folk Music Club Inc is a not-for-profit community group that supports and encourages participation in music, dance and poetry in contemporary and traditional forms.

What we do

The club meets on the first Wednesday of each month (except January) for a Session, Showcase of local artists or a Concert.

At sessions, members and visitors are encouraged to lead a song or a tune in an informal environment - often a song circle and always unamplified.

A Showcase of local artists is a concert featuring artists from Geelong and surrounds. The setting is more formal, will be amplified and an entrance fee will be charge for both members and guests.

Generally, the club meets at the Naval Association Club Rooms, 90 Skene Street, Newtown 3220. Occasionally the club may present a concert at another venue.
